The book proposes a new view of socio-political transformations and the organization of government systems in society. The authors proceed from the idea of the determining role of the processes of thinking and activity for the organization of the human dormitory and the formation of certain forms of government. The state, other social and political institutions are then products (transformed forms) of activity processes. With this approach, the path of solving the "eternal problem" is planned: how to minimize the discrepancy between philosophical and methodological ideas, political plans and their implementation. This path is covered by a political ideal - a combination of collective self -government, responsible for development, with power, a limited function of maintaining the stability of society.
The authors linze possible ways to study and implement their proposals with the lessons of the formation of US statehood and the history of the left idea in Europe. The political philosophy of the authors in their own way continues the ideas of the Moscow methodological circle, developed since the 50s of the last century. The authors belong to the last generation of direct students of the permanent leader of the circle G.P. Shchedrovitsky.
