By no means a short story of feminism in China consists of several time very uneven in time and intensity of development stages. The origin of the “female question” here is primarily associated with the activities of Christian missionaries, and at the beginning of the last century the emancipation of women was stimulated by Chinese revolutionaries as an important component of the emancipation of the nation. The equal rights of the sexes fixed in the Constitution of the PRC, alas, did not lead, by and large, to the serious development of female identity. The new reformation period in the country, when, in particular, the most acute problems of unemployment tried to solve the “return of women home”, revealed the complexity of gender relations, including the incentive for the development of both female research and self -awareness and self -organization of Chinese women
