The purpose of this manual, which has a pronounced practical orientation, is to give a systemic theoretical and practical idea of the phonetic-phonological system of the Chinese language of Putunhua to a Russian-speaking student who begins to study Chinese. This is ensured by overcoming the existing incompetition of the practical descriptions of the sound systems of Chinese and Russian languages based on the developed and tested theory of sound -phono -phonemic in relation to the Chinese language (for details see: Aleksakhin A. M., 2015) As a result, the phonetic-phonological systems of Chinese and Russian languages on one basis of comparison “consonants and vowels” (phoneme-the language rule for the articulation of speech sounds) appear for the student as rationally understood objects of practical study and mastery. The Russian -speaking student receives a conscious possibility of using his knowledge and skills to pronounce the sounds of their native language to compare them with the consonant and vowels of the Chinese language. A systemic presentation of knowledge in combination with practical exercises (imitative, analytical and speech -ceremic) allows you to effectively form adequate skills of pronunciation and auditing of the sounds of the Chinese language. Theoretical information and system of practical exercises are mainly aimed at overcoming typical phonological errors leading to semantic distortions due to involuntary erroneous pronunciation of the words of the Chinese language
