The training manual presents a description of sociological approaches to the study of social processes and social changes in the global level, that is, those that go beyond individual national states cover large regions or all of humanity. The study of this kind of processes took place in close connection with the development of discipline called “historical sociology”, within the framework of which attempts are made to form a comprehensive idea of both the processes themselves and their influence on the modern world order.
