A textbook of a professor of the Moscow State Conservatory named after P. I. Tchaikovsky and the Orthodox Holy - Tikhonovsky Humanitarian University A.N. Myasoedov is intended for the subject of harmony at the faculties of church singing, in regent schools and at the courses. This corresponds to the methodology of presentation of the material, taking into account the specifics of the harmony of Russian church polyphony. On the materials of the textbook for more than one year, harmony has been underway at the Orthodox Holy - Tikhonovsky Humanitarian University. The second part of the book, setting out the most difficult topics of the course related to general theoretical provisions, can be used in the courses of harmony and the history of Russian music in music universities
