The proposed book was created by the efforts of a group of theoretical teachers of the State Medical University named after Gnesins. The content of the manual is devoted to urgent problems of musical and theoretical training of junior college students who receive professional education as performers, theorists and composers.
Each chapter of the book is dedicated to one of the eras in the development of musical thinking, starting from the era of the Lada Archaic and up to the musical language of geniuses of the 20th century.
The material of theoretical concepts in different chapters is stated in a form integrating theoretical concepts with the tasks of practical, analytical and creative. This allows you to actively involve students" consciousness in the process of creative thinking of the authors of the studied works. The content of all chapters contains a lot of analytical, practical and creative tasks, including rarely used forms of tasks - such as “building thematic scenarios” and “developmental games”, which can already be used in the elementary grades of the Children"s School and the Children"s School.
The material of the proposed manual, designed for the formation of the conceptual apparatus of theoretical students, can give teachers a more accurate idea of the content of the specialty of works of different eras and styles studied in the class
