The proposed collection of Greek fairy tales and legends gives the reader the opportunity not only to touch the folklore of this country, but also to get acquainted with the logic of its inhabitants, their way to perceive the world, sometimes so different from ours. In the fairy -tale space created by Greek fantasy, biblical characters and characters of ancient mythology get along and interact, and at first glance familiar stories suddenly receive a completely unexpected, impossible resolution for the Russian fairy tale.
Tales are adapted (without simplifying the text of the original) according to the method of Ilya Frank: equipped with a literal translation into Russian and the necessary lexical and grammatical commentary.
