Paul Taffanel (1844-1908) - French flutist, composer and teacher who raised more than one generation of performers. In collaboration with the student and follower, Philip Gober (1879-1941), he created the textbook “Full School of the Flate game”, which to this day is the most important help for the formation of a performer-fluist, being a kind of "encyclopedia of the play on the flute". This collection contains one of the eight sections of this work, namely the third chapter of the "attack of the language", dedicated to the development of the articulation abilities of the flutist. Recommendations for the student’s work on a single, double and triple attack of the language in various combinations are presented, accompanied by numerous exercises and plays for one and two flutes, the second of which the teacher can play.
This collection is addressed to all flutists who want to achieve a clear attack of the language in the performance of more complex works
