In the musical art of any time there have always been a lot of mysteries. For a modern listener, they often appear frank curios. The formidable and frightening word “plagiarism” clearly did not worry many masters of the past, otherwise how to explain the abundance of borrowing among the geniuses recognized by the world - Bach and Handel? Why could female roles be performed by men (and vice versa) in the opera of the XVII-XVIII? Some composers could use receptions in the form of a semi -a -deck that fundamentally changing the traditional interpretation of the work.
