Despite the frenzied popularity of "civil defense" and Yankees, the Siberian punk as a whole, irreducible to its parts, for most, still Terra Incognita. Miroslav Nemirov, "Instructions for Survival", "Putti", "Closed Enterprise", Manager, Black Lukich, "Industrial Architecture", Cooperative Nishtyak and others, forgotten these figures of the Siberian wave, but also explain who to explain who to explain who They, where they came from, where they went or go, few are able to. The myth of these not always friendly intelligent young people, stomping along the dirty snowdrifts of Omsk, Tomsk and Novosibirsk and to this day that amaze with the bestial seriousness, then the mocking laughter of their songs has developed for a long time: it was time to deepen it, detailing it, and most importantly - give a voice to give a voice The participants of this unique scene themselves, both alive and dead.
The book was based on an interview taken by Vladimir Kozlov for the documentary "Traces of the Snow" (2014), texts from the old Samizdat ("Siberian ulcer", "Counter cult of ur"a", "party"), memoirs of participants Scenes and many other sources. The chronological framework of the narrative - from the origin of the Siberian punk to the death of Yana Diaghileva, that is, the book in the book is primarily about the Soviet period. The story recreated in this volumetric volume inevitably turned out to be "brief", but no one can write “full” to anyone: after all, it has not yet ended
