A set of diagnostic materials was created to help the teacher to determine the level of ownership of the Russian language of students, for whom the Russian language is not native (nyphon children) The peculiarity of the presented materials is to correlate linguistic and communicative competencies with the age and psychophysical capabilities of children. The material is diverse in form and content. Fascinating plot pictures, fairy tales, fragments of cartoons enable the child in a relaxed atmosphere to engage in communication with the teacher.
The manual contains materials for the student and teacher, which gives the instructions for diagnostics. Input diagnostics is built in the form of an interview, which takes into account the child’s capabilities to enter into communication, the ability to answer questions, to respond correctly to someone else"s speech. Diagnostics carried out in a benevolent and relaxed environment will help to remove a possible psychological and language barrier.
The originality of the final tests is to present the material in the usual form and forms of work, which they get acquainted throughout the school year. Tasks of the final testing do not set goals to determine the level of knowledge of the student in the Russian language. They are intended to determine the level of language speech, communicative, sociocultural competence for all types of speech activity. The purpose of the final testing is the further construction of the educational route of a foreign child, which has certain difficulties in teaching the Russian language and the possibility of overcoming them. In the preparation of this manual, the recommendations of teachers who have significant experience with children-foreign children in Russian language schools (Moscow) are taken into account in classes with a large number of children who are weakly owned by the Russian language
