A collective monograph was written based on the results of the project of the Russian Scientific Fund, focused on a comprehensive study of the electronic participation of citizens in the context of the political process and the adoption of political and managerial decisions. The authors are concentrated on the theoretical and empirical analysis of existing institutions and practices of electronic participation, the search for the most successful ways to use it for the development of state and municipal administration in the regions of the Russian Federation. Electronic participation is considered as a set of methods and tools that ensure the electronic interaction of citizens and authorities in order to take into account the opinions of citizens in state and municipal administration when making political and managerial decisions. For scientists, teachers, graduate students and undergraduates studying the problems of the influence of information and communication technologies on the transformation of socio-political relations in modern society
