The monograph presents the results of a study of the competencies of ownership of the Chinese language. The translation and analysis of the new standard of ownership of the Chinese language was completed as the second for international teaching the Chinese language, which entered into force in the PRC in 2021, the historical process of forming a system of competencies of the Chinese language and the HSK exam system was studied. A comparative analysis of the options of these systems was carried out at different stages of historical development, as well as their comparison with some world analogues. The principle of the level formation of the communicative competence of the Chinese language was formulated, it is concluded about the need to use it in school and university education.
