The textbook on socio-political translation is intended for those who have already mastered the basic course of the Chinese language.
The manual consists of eight lessons, each of which selected materials from the modern Chinese press on different topics: politics, economics, culture, medicine, etc. The peculiarity of the author’s approach is a large number of small texts, including those consisting of one phrases.
After the texts, a lexical-grammatical commentary is proposed, then exercises. Some exercises are equipped with keys for self -control. The manual also includes a section with additional texts and a dictionary, where for each word the lesson number in which it appears for the first time is indicated
