The textbook is intended for high school students studying economics at an advanced level. The goal of the textbook is to develop a system of economic knowledge in students, including the specifics of the methodology of economic science, understanding the evolution of its development, developing skills in working with current economic information, and gaining experience in independent research activities. The methodological apparatus of the textbook is aimed at active educational and cognitive activities of students. The content of the textbook has been revised and supplemented in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard for general education. A "Workbook" and a "Teacher's Guide" have been published alongside the textbook for students, as well as a methodological guide for teachers. It complies with the Federal State Educational Standard for general education, approved by the Order of the Ministry of Education of Russia dated 17.05.2012 No. 413, with amendments dated 12.08.2022 No. 5732. Implementation of part of the main educational program formed by participants in educational relationships.
