The novel by Archpriest Alexander Balyberdin "Echo of the Beech Forest" continues the cycle of reflections on the present and future, which began with the book "Beech Forest," and at the same time is an independent work inspired by the books of Aldous Huxley and George Orwell, Yevgeny Zamyatin, and Yulia Voznesenskaya. The action of the novel unfolds at the end of the 22nd - beginning of the 23rd century in Paris and Reims, Berlin and Dresden, Rome and Venice, Vladimir and Sergiev Posad, on the island of Gotland, Nerl, and Vyatka, as well as in a hermitage near the city of Murmelon-le-Grand. The characters of the work have to go through a quarter-century journey and experience a lot in order to find faith and dignity, the meaning of life, and true love. Readers can expect unexpected plot twists, which include elements of detective and fantasy, philosophy, bold predictions, deep feelings, and hope. Archpriest Alexander Balyberdin (born in 1967) is a member of the Inter-Council Presence of the Russian Orthodox Church, the dean of the churches of Vyatka (Kirov), a candidate of historical sciences, a laureate of the All-Russian competition "Enlightenment through the Book" and the "Vyatka Book" competition.
