The exhibition dedicated to Bright Easter vividly reflects this holiday in Russian decorative and applied arts. The tradition of giving Easter gifts in Russia has deep roots. Porcelain Easter eggs have been made since the founding of the Neva Porcelain Factory, and a broader embodiment of the Easter theme was found in the assortment of private factories of the 19th century. It remains relevant for contemporary artists as well.
