In this book published excerpts from the diary records of Peter Evgrafovich Kovalevsky, covering 12 years, 1937-1948. The book includes entries reflecting the chosen topic - the church and church-public life of Russian abroad, mainly in Paris and in the Parisian area. Peter Kovalevsky was a prominent worker in the field of organizing and developing school in Orthodox parishes, he taught in the St.-Sergievsky Theological Institute, participated in the activities of the Russian student Christian movement (RSHD), devoted a lot of time to social and church work. All this is paid a lot of space in the "diaries".
Text "diaries" P.E. Kovalevsky corrected by the author himself and is the most complete of the available available. It is kept in the Catholic monastery of the Eastern Rite of Exaltation of the Cross of the Lord in Shevton (Belgium).
The publication is equipped with subpine notes and registered pointer. The book is addressed to all interested in the history of Russian emigration.
