A small but meaningful book belongs to the pen of Doctor of Theology, historian, and professor of the Moscow Spiritual Academy, Peter Simonovich Kazansky (1819-1878), known for his outstanding works on church and civil history, as well as spiritual and educational writings intended for popular reading.
Many works by P.S. Kazansky were published anonymously. The result of the collaboration between Kazansky as an anonymous author and the spiritual writer Nikolai Vasilyevich Elagin (1817-1891) as an editor and publisher was the publication of a series of books, including "Earthly Life of the Most Holy Virgin," published in 1871 under Elagin's name.
In the pages of this book, the reader will learn about the earthly life of the Most Holy Virgin, based on Sacred Scripture, the testimonies of the holy fathers of the Church, and Sacred Tradition.
