The book outlines modern methods for calculating the oscillations of machines, including cyclic mechanisms (lever, cam, stepper, etc) Tests of schematization and a correct mathematical description of the oscillatory systems are given when taking into account the variability of parameters and nonlinearities. Special attention in the monograph is given to new developments in this class tasks devoted to the analysis and dynamic synthesis of cyclic machines with repeated sections (modules) forming regular oscillatory systems of a complex structure. Specific dynamic effects are analyzed, dynamic errors and fluctuation suppression methods are given. A number of sections of the monographs on setting tasks goes beyond the dynamics of cyclic machines and wears a general-engineering character (taking into account nonlinear dissipative forces in non-consumer oscillations, shock excitation in gaps, parametric effects, etc).
The presentation is illustrated by examples, as well as the results of computer simulation and experimental studies.
