The monograph is devoted to the construction of optimal movement control in the viscous environment of bodies of various configurations and mechanical systems compiled from them. The design of special underwater devices for work in extreme conditions of earthly and extraterrestrial nature, the development of the optimal management system are complex tasks. Due to the limited on-board energy, the search for the laws of changes in the control forces and moments that ensure the movement of the apparatus from the initial position to the minimum energy costs is relevant. The task has a singular solutions with impulse components, so there is a problem using classic variations. A description of the ways of overcoming it is designed for standard engineering training. Two applications are provided for those who wish to understand the mathematical background.
