The sister of Emperor Peter II, Tsarevna Natalia Alexeevna, passed away on November 22, 1728, at the age of 14. The burial place of the young tsarevna was the necropolis of the Ascension Monastery in the Moscow Kremlin. During the museumification of the burial, it was discovered that her funeral attire was a strange outfit, contradicting all known funeral traditions. The authors of the monograph analyze the reasons for this. The publication is accompanied by unique photographs and archival materials published for the first time. It is intended for specialists and all those interested in the history of Peter's Russia, costume history, and historical reconstruction.
