The book was created on the basis of exclusive interviews made during meetings with Yuri Hatuevich Temirkanov, as well as publications, television ties and television films about him and with his participation, shot over the past 40 years. The author worked in the archives of Kabardino-Balkaria, talked with close relatives and friends of the maestro, visited his native village Zaragizh.
For the first time, Yuri Temirkanov appears so details and voluminous in public not in a tailcoat for the conductor’s remote control, and his innermost thoughts and feelings are conveyed to the listeners not in the decryption of the scores - but his eyes to his eyes, word for word.
