The famous director and writer Vyacheslav Khotulev is a laureate of Russian and international festivals, gentleman of the Order of Sergius of Radonezh. His documentary novel “Touch” goes beyond the scope of memoir literature. It is written with a large degree of self -irony. At the same time, he is not devoid of deep thought about the fate of Russia. The world of Russian cinema is shown from a wide variety of, sometimes unpleasant sides. Many characters in the documentary novel are known far beyond the borders of Russia. These are writers, Nobel Prize winners Henry Belll* Alexander Solzhenitsyn, direct grandson of F.M. Dostoevsky - Andrei Fedorovich, sister Marina Tsvetaeva Anastasia Ivanovna, Russian poet Evgeny Yevtushenko, director and writer Vasily Shukshin, wonderful artist Alexei Batalov, great ballerina Maya Plisetskaya, composer Rodion Shchedrin, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexy. This is just a small list of those with whom the author met by virtue of his profession of a documentary director.
The book proposed can arouse interest not only among readers who are not indifferent to the culture of modern Russia, but also among those who are far from its problems and aspirations
