Anna Frank died in the Bergen-Belzen concentration camp two months before the end of the war. She was 15 years old. Her diary, which she led in Amsterdam, hiding with her family from the Nazis, was first printed in 1947. Since then, millions of people have read it, and new publications appear in different countries every year.
