I remember very well how I was happy when I was offered to write this book. This was my first book, and I was very worried. I always dreamed of creating a book and sharing my love of watercolors, but the dream seemed unattainable. And when I was asked to write about the color and light in watercolor painting, I grabbed onto this opportunity and I can say that I enjoyed the process from and to.
Since then I have created two more books: “Atmospheric Watercolor” and “The World of Watercolors”. My artistic career developed, I learned a lot, traveling and conducting seminars around the world. My evolution as an artist turned out to be so noticeable that the publisher suggested returning to the first book and adding new material, breathing in a new life, even more enthusiasm and enthusiasm.
I included exercises here for which there was not enough space in the first edition, and the paintings that show my evolution. And for me it is a great honor to work on each chapter again, to think about you, readers, and hope that you will like an expanded and improved edition.
