In 1921, the fifteen-year-old journalist of the provincial newspaper Lev Sheinin entered the Moscow Higher Literary and Art Institute. But in February 1923, according to the Komsomol distribution, he was sent to work in the USSR prosecutor"s office. In 1927, the first story of Leo Shein, the court of the court, was published in the newspaper Izvestia. Over time, the author became one of the most experienced and sensible Soviet investigators, combining the disclosure of crimes and literary work.
