Reprint from the publication. Moscow, 1918. Georgy Apollonovich Gapon - priest of the Russian Orthodox Church. The creator and head of the working organization “Collection of Russian Factory Workers in St. Petersburg”, the organizer of the January working strike and the mass procession of workers to the king with a petition, which ended in the execution of workers and laid the foundation for the first Russian revolution of 1905-1907. Later, a participant in the failed preparation of the armed uprising in St. Petersburg with the help of weapons with the steamer John Grafton, the founder of the All -Russian Worker Union revolutionary organization. In 1906, he was killed in lakes by a group of settlers-settlers on charges of cooperation with the authorities.
