"Notes" Marfa Stepanovna Sabinina (1831-1892) - one of the most valuable Russian memoir monuments regarding not only music, but also the cultural, social life of Germany and Russia in the mid -19th century. M.S. Sabinina, daughter of the confessor of the Grand Duchess Maria Pavlovna, a student of Clara Shuman and Franz Liszt and a music teacher of children Alexander II, became one of the founders and leaders of the Russian Society of the Red Cross and the first community of the sisters of mercy in Crimea.
