The author of this book A.K. Smolly fame in our country deserved as the producer and creator of historical and patriotic films who received the highest appreciation of the audience: “Bryansk Tale”, “Life-Dodarki”, “Allies”, “They died for France”, “Nezhenskaya business”. However, as an inquisitive and indifferent person, A.K. Smolly did not stop at film projects, for a long time he continued to ask himself alarming questions: where is our country moving? How to save and strengthen the Russian people? Will new generations be worthy of the high bar that their grandfathers raised by the victorious? All these thoughts were embodied in the end in the articles presented in this book, the epigraph to which the author himself set the lines: Right is not right - this is my country.
