Having become a real epistolary heritage, letters of Vincent Van Gogh to his brother Theo to the core are shocked by their sincerity. For more than a hundred years, the correspondence of two brothers, which lasted as long as fifteen years, became no less popular than the famous sunflowers of the artist, and was translated into all European languages. Meanwhile, few people know that these endless, piercing letters were full of numerous drawings of objects that Van Gogh saw in front of him. Using original sketches and sketches from letters, we tried to reproduce how the artist’s letters looked, who painted everything that his brilliant look fell at. Here is a unique edition, each page of which is permeated by the atmosphere in which Van Gogh lived and worked.
