This edition presents the selected correspondence of an outstanding Russian literary critic, publicist, translator Mikhail Osipovich Gershenzon (1869-1925) The collection consists of two sections. The first one included correspondence with L.I.Shestov, Andrei Bely, V.V. Rozanov, V.F. Rodsevich, B.L. Modzalevsky and K.I. Chukovsky, which first appeared in the periodicals of the 1990s. The second section contains materials published for the first time. This is the correspondence of Gershenzon with the writers E.Ya. Arkhippov, A.S. Glinka, A.E. Gruzinsky, E.A. Llyatsky, V.F. Savodnik, V.I. Saytov, V.G. Chertkov, V.E. . Cheshikhin and others.
The publication is addressed to literary scholars-professional, as well as to everyone interested in the history of Russian literature.
