The catalog was prepared for the exhibition Leo Bakst / Leon Bakst. On the 150th anniversary of his birth ”(June 8-August 28, 2016), with a successful building in the main building and the personal collections of the Plane named after A.S. Pushkin. The exposition was dedicated to the work of one of the brightest artists of the twentieth century Lev Samoilovich Bakst (1866–1924), the famous, primarily for its impressive projects for the Diaghilev Russian seasons in Paris and London. Bakst became famous as a painter, portrait painter, master of book and magazine illustration, interiors designer and creator of high fashion. The illustrated publication includes the cattle part and articles of Russian and foreign scientists, covering various aspects of the artist’s work
