The name of the Moscow collector Ivan Abramovich Morozov is known around the world: along with Sergey Ivanovich Schukin in the first decades of the 20th century, he collected one of the best collections of contemporary art in the world. Nationalized in 1918, these collections formed the basis of the State Museum of New Western Art (GMNZi) After its liquidation in 1948, part of the collection was accepted by the Leningrad Hermitage, the other part passed to the Plane named after A.S. Pushkin, in these meetings, Morozov masterpieces are stored today
