The publication is dedicated to the book art of one of the bright, multifaceted artists of the second half of the 20th century Ilya Trofimovich Bogesko (1923-2010), the author of illustrations, design and design of more than a hundred published books. Many illustrative cycles of Bogesko have become a classic of book publishing: it is Russian and foreign fiction. The text of the book traces the artist’s creative path - from student works at the Graphic Department of the Institute. I.E.
