When I draw flowers, I do not measure them, I do not make sketches with a pencil or paint. It’s easier for me to immediately take up the picture. Before moving on to clear contours, I take a wide brush and make an erosion with a smooth transition of color. I like to observe how millions of shades are revealed on wet paper, tilt the leaf left and right so that the colors themselves find the way, each time creating a unique background. Then I adapt this background for my object. It is probably easier to draw, but it holds back a creative impulse.
I have not written my masterpiece yet and may never write. But I suggest you share with me the pleasure of the process of image image according to my method. I hope this book will help you express exactly what you want to show in your paintings with flowers. And most importantly, I hope you will like it!
