The training manual sets out the foundations of a modern automated electric drive. The principles of electromechanical energy transformation are briefly considered, a description of the main systems of the adjustable electric drive: frequency -regulated asynchronous and synchronous electric drives, the principles of subordinate regulation of the coordinates of the electric drive are presented. The methods of computer modeling of electric engines, electric drives and their control systems are set out.
