The book is the first monograph on the work of the artist, a member of the group "thirteen" Boris Fedorovich Rybchenkov (1899 - 1994) In addition to the multilateral consideration of the artist’s creative path, she includes his stories, poems, notes, as well as a catalog of works, reconstructing participation in exhibitions until 1940. The latter serves as a necessary addition in the study of the period of the 1920s and 1930s. At the same time, these years were not the only bright rise in the art of the master. Of particular interest is the phenomenon of the late creativity of Rybchenkov, when he, who, almost completely lost his eyesight, managed, surprisingly, by his "inner vision" to identify the highest form of development of creative imagination and rise in painting to a previously not previous height
