About the book
artist, man, genius. The one for whom to write meant to see, which was better than anyone, "lived" his century. Visionary? Yes. Belonging to the soul and body of creativity.
A public person whose chaotic life fascinated the crowd was also violent, mysterious, unpredictable. From the first pigeons, drawn with a pencil in Malaga, to blue and pink periods, from crazy years on Montmartre to the Avignonian girls, from the surreal explosion to the "Germanic", from the crying women to a woman-concrete, he tirelessly repeated: “I am not looking for,” I am not looking for, I find. "
Marie-Lor Bernadak and Paul Du Boucher traced the fate of a man who left a fiery imprint on his century and changed contemporary art forever.
Pictures of blue and pink, cubic and classical periods, poster, female portraits, sculpture, collage, ceramics, lithography ... 200 works demonstrate the brightness, courage and diversity of Pablo Picasso"s work.
