This little work is dedicated to participants in the tragic December 1979 events in Afghanistan. An ordinary fighter and honored general in those days decisively and without a shadow of oscillations, each in their site, fulfilled their duty. None of them doubted the fairness of the issued orders, of the need for events. No one showed even the slightest signs of fear, attempts to move away, to avoid participating in risky events. Some were killed and there were many of them. The survivors every year in December recall and celebrate these events in their circle, raising, as a rule, a second glass and drinking it without clinking, for those who gave their lives.
All of them deserve to be remembered. Numerous publications do not draw a real picture of what happened.
