Dear readers, it’s hard for me to believe it now, but once the workshop was the most lifeless place in my house. I spent time in search of suitable stories for artistic creativity, regularly acquired paints, tools and books on art. But in order to start a new picture, I had to overcome myself. Weeks were leaving for the dorisovka. Although the drawing process gave me pleasure, I was dissatisfied with the results and did not notice progress. During the vacation in Canada in August 2011, I met the movement "every day according to the drawing" and immediately caught fire to their idea. Participants in the movement draw one picture per day, and then put them on public display in the online gallery, where work can be evaluated and even purchased. Just what I missed! New motivation! New goal! I named my project "on Stiller in a day - 100 days/100 paintings". More than five years have passed since then. During this time, I created almost two thousand paintings. The result of my project was numerous exhibitions. The project attracted public interest, helped me get new acquaintances. I held a series of seminars in Germany on the topic of daily drawing and wrote a book that you are holding in your hands.
The ability to draw every day fills my life with meaning and makes me happier.
