The book teaches to draw with watercolors and improve its skills in 50 lessons with an increasing level of complexity.
Are you a beginner who scares a blank sheet of watercolor paper? Or have you already tried to draw with watercolors, but would like to improve their skills? This book will become the patient teacher you were waiting for.
In it you will find a detailed course on watercolor painting, consisting of 50 lessons. From pouring in continuous color - to free drawing! From an elementary still life to an exquisite portrait using the grisail technique, from the first experiments with the composition to a dynamic combination of different genres and techniques. With each lesson, you will add new techniques and objects to your arsenal. And by the end of the book you will create 50 sketches - a ready -made portfolio of a novice artist.
The book motivates to take up the brush and start creating, because objects made of everyday household are used as objects for drawing. Having learned to draw them, you will go to the landscapes and you can even tell stories in your paintings. You will master various techniques: from simple color filling to work with mascara, expressive strokes and the use of light.
From the author
This book is based on a simple idea. We will start with everyday things that will be found at every home. As you start to draw more confidently, I will offer you to leave the house with the sketchbook and begin to explore your city and its environs.
Although the theme of my sketches was objects, buildings and nature in the vicinity of my city, I hope you can find something similar next to your house. It is very interesting to consider the world around the world through the eyes of an artist. This can be the beginning of the exciting path. I hope my book will help you take the first steps.
For whom
A book for novice artists who want to master drawing skills with watercolor paints.
