The textbook "Drawing by Representation" is the first volume of a two-volume edition. The second volume is "Architectural Drawing of a Plaster Head." Both of these books cover practically all aspects of the initial training of an architect in drawing. The manual is intended for anyone who is beginning to learn architectural drawing, primarily for applicants and students in the early years of architectural universities. The manual is based on the programs and methods of the "Drawing" department of the Moscow Architectural Institute and contains the theoretical foundations of architectural drawing, as well as practical assignments. The sequential completion of tasks will allow the student to master the technique of architectural drawing and acquire basic skills in depicting individual geometric shapes and compositions made up of them.
