You have a systematic review of combat guns used in the Armed Forces and Police Formations from 1945 and to the present. The publication presents not only reference and technical information on the main samples of combat pistols, but also a historical review of events related to the adoption of those or other models and systems. In addition, the review includes some experimental and minor samples of pistols developed during the period under review.
The book consists of two parts. The first part contains a brief overview of the history of the development of combat pistols in the period preceding the book in question, as well as the analysis of trends in the development of modern service pistols. The second, the bulk of the book is the actual review of combat guns created and consisting of the period after 1945, with a breakdown by countries of origin. Annexes provide information on the device of modern pistols used ammunition and their comparative efficiency
