This monograph presents the results of a collective study of the reception of Western psychology of religion in the Russian context. The work was supported by RNF grant 14-18-03771 "Modern Western psychology of religion: adaptation in the Russian context." Organization - addressee of financing - PSTU. The main goal of the work is the theoretical and methodological reflection aimed at the reconstruction of the history of theoretical and empirical research in the foreign psychology of religion and their perception in Russian science. The authors consider both cognitive research and the latest neuronac data, and traditional examples of the psychology of religion, such as the works of W. James and the classics of psychoanalysis.
