Doctor Leng's office

In the freezer of the American Museum of Natural History, a dead curator is found. In another state, a master craftsman who made copies of ancient relics is shot. Soon it becomes clear: the two murders are connected. While the colleagues of FBI Special Agent Aloysius Pendergast are investigating these cases, he himself is preoccupied with another matter - a matter in which he has a personal interest. Pendergast's assistant Constance, consumed by revenge, enters into a battle with Dr. Enoch Leng, a mad experimenter whose subjects are living people.
