Metaphysical poetry clarifies the meaning of words, concepts in the system of artistic and poetic means of language. The purpose of the poetic, as well as philosophical, creativity is to call things with their own names. The point is not to show what things are for us what we see them, feel, understand, but to show what they are in yourself and for ourselves. The poet philosopher through the clarification of the meanings seeks to penetrate into "things in themselves", "divine things", which is an external way of unrecognizable. Metaphysical poetry is a means of understanding and expressing the "divine world", invisibly present in us and among us. Sky and there is this divine world ".
