The collection was prepared for the 140th anniversary of the birth of the famous Russian writer Leonid Nikolayevich Andreeva. The book contains the epistolar heritage of Leonid Andreev and his members of his big family, the diary of his wife, Anna Ilinichna Denisevich, the story of the daughter, the faith of Leonidovna Andreva "House on the Black River", poem in the prose of the student of the writer, the compiler of the collection, Irina Grigorievna Andreva. The literary creativity of the writer is of a "story about seven hated" with the publishing of the last chapter, withdrawn by the author, and the acute, providic article "Veni, Creator!", Dated September 15, 1917. The main thing is that it unites all these unique materials - the personality and creative fate of Leonid Andreeva, and the main background is the house on a black river, inextricably connected with the writer and his family. Some compilation materials are published for the first time. The book is illustrated by photographs from the personal archive of the compiler, Irina Grigorievna Andreva.
