The book is a selection of lessons at the introductory course of the economy. They consider the main problems of the macro and microeconomic theory. The definitions of basic concepts are given, the most important theoretical provisions are illustrated by drawings, graphs, presented the main calculated formulas. The theoretical material of each topic is accompanied by practical work or methodological development of the business game, as well as options for test practical work implemented using the Microsoft Excel tabular processor.
The book is written without binding to a specific environmental product environment, so all proposed algorithms can be successfully applied to various versions of Microsoft Excel. The material of the book is outlined on the basis of the most modern method of training distance courses within the framework of the Educational Network Olympiads project (OSO-2006) The OSO-2005 project is the nominee of the international competition "IT education in RuNet".
The book will be useful to a wide range of readers - students of universities, student lyceum, colleges, schoolchildren. It will be most interesting for the economy teachers, thanks to the presented variety forms of lessons and embodiments of the structure of the material.
