At the center of the story is a young family: philologist Seda and architect Sarkis. In April 1991, they welcomed the beginning of a new life with hope - the birth of independent Armenia. However, as the Karabakh war, which began in 1989, and the economic blockade continued, the family faced trials: hunger, political turmoil, and the loss of loved ones. The decade of independence turned into a nightmare. They betray each other, make mistakes, and leave for different countries. The surviving family members will come together for the last time after 20 years to put an end to the past.
